VISION AND STRATEGY
A long-term Vision and Strategy is needed to guide and accelerate the development of Green Power. The Vision must be shared among all jurisdictions and have broad stakeholders and public support. Strategies with targets and timelines are essential to implementing the Vision as has been demonstrated in countries that are world leaders in Green Power development. Environmental pollution is always a factor.
Three factors responsible for environmental pollution:
- population,
- technology, and
- consumption. Consumption is the hardest to control.
